2015 has been a big year for us at 3D Machine, as we have added a range of new equipment which has given us a variety of valuable capabilities we can now offer our customers. Read below to for more information about our added swiss turning and laser cutting and engraving capabilities.
Swiss Turning Capabilities
The addition of our new Citizen L20 swiss lathe gives us the ability to produce custom-turned components to levels of accuracy and precision we simply couldn’t manage previously. Originally developed for the Swiss watchmaking industry, swiss turning equipment secures the component being turned more effectively than traditional CNC lathes, all but eliminating chatter and deflection and maximizing precision. Laser Cutting and Engraving
With our new Kern HSE 200-watt laser system, we can precision cut steel up to ⅛” thick, and this system also has rotary laser cutting functionality, capable of handling cylindrical parts. Our laser system also features part marking, engraving, and three-dimensional etching capabilities, enabling our customers to add marking, lettering, and even graphics to their parts. 3D Machine’s added capabilities, 2017 Milling:
The addition of our new Doosan HC400 II high production CNC Horizontal Machining Center with rotary pallet changer and Doosan VC510 high production CNC Vertical Machining Center with rotary pallet changer. These acquisitions enhance 3D Machine’s ability to maintain its competitive pricing through increased productivity and removing loading/unloading time.
3D Machine’s added capabilities, 2018 Turning:
3D Machine is continually investing in new equipment to maintain their competitive advantage. The addition of Miyano’s BNX51 MSY twin spindle turning center with Y axis give’s us swiss type machining in the 2” diameter stock range. The Y axis capability allows for more complex machining on the back spindle to help reduce cost to our customers.
